Hijacked Email on Hotmail

Last night a message went out at 12:47 on my email account to all 157 customers and friends on my contact list. The message was this:

Hey ,friend I find a site to sell electronic products with very good price. Laptop ,iPhone even Motorcycle are very popular .their products are original quality with very low price as wholesale business supplier. They also can do retail business for end user now. maybe it is fit for your business . if you like you can contact them : www.wholesaler-electronic.com E-mail: wholesaler318@188.comMsn : wholesaler3188@hotmail.com

They did it by hijacking my email account somehow. I was able to get into my account and change the password. Hotmail gave me a great clue by telling me that I still had the "automated vacation response message on the account. They used this feature somehow to send this stupid message to all my contacts. Also, as insult to injury, they included this ridiculous message in my automated signature line so it would go out to everyone I replied to. Make sure you change your password to a strong one.

This message is a public service to fellow Hotmail Customers. If this happens to you,
change your password if you can. Then change the automated vacation message setting and signature line settings in your options. I don't know where they are but I sure don't want anything they are selling after this mess.
