Ever heard of Etsy?

Etsy is the new eBay for people who make crafts to sell on the internet. I know this because a friend of mine who makes gorgeous jewelry raves about it. I have to admit, I have not been hanging out there much but it looks wonderful.

For those of you who are interested in making your own crafts and marketing them, here are two helpful web pages for you....

Tammy Powley offers a lot of help to those interested in making jewelry (including helping design a kit with a jewelry making book for "Dummies" that taught me how to make nice stuff for myself out of the rocks I bought in Tucson recently.)

The second link is to a neet gal who does an informative podcast through her site that is very interesting. The third is to good old etsy itself.

If you are in that rare space and time in your life that you want to create something and you have time to do it, you are fortunate. Enjoy!!
